Strangely enough, you are the third person in the last couple of weeks who has asked me about this. For children, I only know of the Arts Council for pottery classes. There are classes at Mercer County College, but I believe they are only for adults. I know the Clay Studio in Philadelphia has wonderful classes for kids: www.theclaystudio.org though I know it's 45 minutes away.
